Android 2.3.4 is the latest over the air Android version update to Android Gingerbread. It brings an exciting new feature to Android based devices. With the upgrade to Android 2.3.4 you can video or voice chat using Google Talk. You can make video calls via 3G/4G network or via Wi-Fi. The 2.3.4 also include some bug fixes. So the phones running Android 2.3.4 will have this new feature with all the other features of Android 2.3 and its revisions; i.e Android 2.3.1, Android 2.3.2 and Android 2.3.3. While, Android 2.2.2 is the last revision to Android Froyo. The two revisions to Android 2.2 were minor updates. So, the difference between Android 2.2.2 and Android 2.3.4 is basically the new features in Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and the new voice/video chat feature included to version 2.3.4.
