The difference between California King and King bed comes from the differences in the width and length of both beds. California King and King denote the sizes of the bed and mattresses. California King is designed for taller people, and King is designed for people bigger in size. King is also designed for when two people are sleeping on the bed, and these people want some space between them to sleep comfortably. The difference between the two types of beds is in few inches, but those few inches make a difference. Whatever bed you choose you have to consider the size of your room first.

If you are larger in person, then the King bed will provide you with enough space. Also, if you are choosing the bed to sleep with your partner and you do not like to be very close to your partner while sleeping then you can choose a King bed.
