Cord blood cells have the stems cell, which are more favour to develop as blood cells (red cells and immune cells). The cord tissue taken from umbilical cord has lot of stem cells and connective tissues. These cells can be used in tissue repair.
Bone marrow failure, some type of cancers and organ failures can be treated with stem cells. Spinal cord damage, cartilage damage also can be repaired with this type of cells.
