Hope vs Trust
Hope and trust are two words that are associated with optimism. Both hope and trust are optimistic feelings and emotions we have about a future event which has an unknown outcome. The key difference between hope and trust is their base; trust is based on reliability, confidence or belief in someone else whereas hope is not based on such qualities. Hope is merely a desire and expectation for a particular thing to happen.
What is Hope?
Hope is a feeling of desire and expectation for a particular thing to happen. We hope when we want something to happen or when we want something to be true and think that it could happen or be true. But, this word also indicates that we are not exactly sure that this thing will definitely happen or not. Hope is also used to refer to a confident feeling about what will happen in the future or something good that we want to happen in the future.

What is Trust?
Trusting someone means believing he or she is reliable, good and honest. In other words, trust is the firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something.
Trust is closely interconnected with belief and reliability. When you trust someone, you are willingly relying on the action of another. For example, you lend your car to your friend because you trust him or her to use it well and return it safely. Although the person who trusts another is not aware of the final outcome of an event, he or she expects a positive outcome since he or she has confidence in the other. Furthermore, trust is a chief component in any relationship, and a relationship cannot exist without some degree of trust.
