Intel i7 is a combination of processor families where as Intel vPro is a combination of technologies like AMT, IVT and ITET. A PC having Intel vPro technology may have a processor of Intel i7 family, as the family of Intel i7 is very wide. Intel vPro consist of hardware technologies, security technologies and many others as well. Now it is crystal clear that these both terms are very different but they seem to be very similar.
