Motorola Xoom Family Edition vs Motorola Xoom
Motorola has announced Motorola Xoom Family Edition exclusively for Best Buy customers for a limited time. This limited edition is available from 16th October 2011 for $379 at Best Buy stores nationwide and online at bestbuy.com. As reported in the press release, there is not much of a difference in the hardware or design aspects, but it has only 16GB internal storage, whereas Xoom has 32GB internal storage. The main attraction is not only the special price but also the $40 worth applications and Zoodle kid mode application preloaded onto the device. With kid mode, kids can access only parent authorized applications and the home button is locked.
