Windows Phones HTC 7 Pro vs HTC 7 Trophy
HTC has introduced five new Smartphones in to its Windows Phone 7 portfolio; HTC 7 Surround, HTC 7 Mozart, HTC 7 Trophy, HTC 7 Pro and HTC HD7. Each one has certain features unique. Here we will be comparing HTC 7 Pro and HTC 7 Trophy.
All these Smartphones from HTC 7 family are run on the Microsoft’s latest Mobile Operating System Windows Phone 7 (WP 7) platform.
MS Windows Phone 7 with a unique Hub and Tile interface has been designed for operational ease. Microsoft has changed its standard icons with live tiles, which function as both icon and widget. It offers quick and easy access to applications and content. Windows Phone 7 also integrates with many popular Microsoft consumer services such as Xbox LIVE, Windows Live, Bing (search engine) and Zune (digital multi media player).
Both Pro and Trophy have LCD screens and nice silver rim around them.
HTC 7 Pro
Tagged as ‘Whiz through your day,’ a phone designed to satisfy business users while retaining its big screen entertainment feature.
The unique feature of this phone compared to other phones in the same portfolio is its QWERTY keyboard. This phone comes with a slide and tilt screen which reveals a QWERTY keyboard underneath the screen. The keys are raised and nicely spaced for fast and comfortable typing and gives a nice feel of typing. And with its tilted screen you can enjoy watching videos hands free.
Of course due to the slide-out keyboard the thickness and weight is comparatively high.
The size of the phone is 117.5mm (4.63″) x 59mm (2.32″) x 15.5mm (0.61″) and weighs 185 grams (5.3 ounces) with battery.
Also, the battery of this model will last longer talk time due its 1500 mAh capacity.
HTC 7 Trophy
This is designed for fun lovers to play game and listen to high quality music. It is tagged as “clock up more game time,” with the power of Xbox LIVE at hand and with 3.8″ screen.
The phone is slimmer and lighter than Pro and Surround with the size of: Height 118.5mm (4.6”) width 61.5mm (2.42”) and thickness 11.96mm (0.47”) and weighs 140 gm (4.94 ounces) with battery
But all other internal designs and the software are pretty the same for both phones.

The screen of HD 7 Pro is bigger than Surround; HD 7 Pro – 3.6” and HD7 – 3.8”
