The placement of the numbers on the wheel are situated or placed randomly. This particular game type is mostly played because of the higher odds of winning.

Difference between American Roulette and European Roulette

American Roulette has 38 pockets all in all while the European Roulette only has 37 pockets. Therefore the odds of winning a bet are higher in a smaller pocket compared to a larger American Roulette pocket. The American Roulette has the numbers 0-36 with a double 0 while a European one only has 0-36. The European Roulette is more popular to roulette players because of the smaller house edge and the higher percentage of winning. The American Roulette on the other hand is preferred by the house or the casino owners because the advantages are leaning towards their own profits.
