Anglican vs Catholic
Anglican and Catholic follow and promise to the Church’s Creeds, which are statements of faith that were recognized by the early church to prevent heresies. They believe that God made both heaven and earth during creation. Furthermore, they believe that Jesus is the Son of God, whose Mother Mary conceived through the Holy Spirit.

Anglican describes the individuals and the churches following the religious customs of the Church of England. Anglicans history starts back from the first followers of Jesus. It also acknowledges the occurrence of the division started with the Orthodox and then the Roman Catholic churches. Anglicans sustain the authority within its church by an apostolic succession. Still their church advocates the Catholic faith.
Catholic
Catholic is defined as whole or universal. Early Christians utilized this name in referring to the whole Church. In non-ecclesiastical usage, it came from its English definition, which means universal inclusive of the definition of having wide sympathies and broad interests and inclusive of containing and inviting strong evangelism. This term is integrated into the name of the biggest Christian communion, which is the Catholic Church.
Difference Between Anglican and Catholic
In terms of the word, Anglican pertains to people while catholic is a general term. Anglican is a branch. In terms of the priests of each church, Anglican priests are allowed to marry. They only take communion as a significant act. While Catholics priests promised celibacy and are also applicable to nuns and monks. When it comes to each church, Anglican Church avoids hierarchy while the Catholic Church embraces it well. The bread and wine in the Anglican belief is just a normal act while for the Catholic it is considered the blood and body of Christ.
No matter what their belief or what kind of guidelines they follow. Anglican and Catholic played a different role throughout history. It’s up to the people on what they would believe.
