Cartoon Network vs Disney
Cartoons are an important constituent of the memories of almost all the children across the globe. In the world of entertainment, there are a number of names of cartoon channels that provide sources of entertainment to kids. New channels and new shows are being introduced to the cartoon industry for the enjoyment of kids. Good cartoons are being efficiently provided to children by some of the most popular names in the history of cartoons. Two of these channels are Disney and Cartoon Network.
Disney Channel has its basis as an American channel which provides its services in 160 countries across the globe in 30 of the different languages. Special programs for children are broadcasted regularly which might be movies or animated stuff. Apart from the weekend programs, all of the programs of Disney are supposed for young children. On the weekends, programs suitable for children of the age 9-15 years are broadcasted.
Cartoon Network is also a television channel with its basis in the American region. Cartoon Network broadcasts programs that are animated. Most of the programs offered by cartoon network to its viewers are meant for children. However, there are late night programs that are targeted for adults. Apart from animated series, Cartoon Network specializes in broadcasting programs which include action and cartoon comedy as well.
Popularity of the channels is one of the most targeted features when a conversation about channels is taking place. Between Cartoon Network and Disney Channel, there isn’t a channel that can be called more popular than the other one. While Disney broadcasts Ferb and Phineas for the comedy section to make children laugh, Cartoon Network keeps up the standards with Dexter on the other hand. Entertainment and an Enjoyable time is what these cartoons provide you at good standards. Also, there has been the inclusion of some real programs which make the competition much more interesting. In the latest days, Cartoon Network and Disney are not providing 100 percent programs that are targeted at young kids to make them laugh and enjoy their time. Basic purpose of a cartoon or a kid’s entertainment channel is to provide some good time to the children however, the not-so-good new programs which are included in daily broadcasts making the purpose of these entertainment channels a bit foggy. Looking at all the programs offered by Disney and Cartoon Network at a previous time, it won’t be wrong to say that the standards have fallen. There are a number of great programs but on the other hand there are programs which are not serving the purpose of providing entertainment.
Stating a clear winner of the ‘Cartoon Wars’ is a difficult task as both of the channels are not at the place where they once used to be. One of the most easily viewable things is that with adult programs being broadcasted on Entertainment channels, the channels are losing their viewers. There are good things on these channels but there are a couple of bad things as well which make these channels not completely perfect.
