Basically, dry scalp means that your scalp is not getting the right amount of moisture and therefore lacks luster and shine. Your hair strands are not lubricated enough since your scalp itself is not lubricated resulting in dryness. The oil glands or the sebaceous glands do not work properly to provide adequate amounts of oil to the scalp and consequently the hair strands and this is the basic reason why your hair loses shine since it’s the sebaceous glands that are responsible for all the healthy look of your hair.
