Design
The design of the phone is based on the iPhone 6S. It is expected to come with metal edges, and top and bottom bezel will be large according to leaked photos. The back of the device has been inspired by iPhone. The handset is expected to come in six colors. The six colors namely are Acid Gold, Opal Silver, Deep Garnet, Carbon Gray, Rose Gold and Cast Iron. All these phones will have the same design. The Antenna line of the device runs on the back of the phone as with the iPhone 6S.
The front of the phone may be unique, but this also comes with a home button which will also work as a fingerprint scanner.

The display size will be 5.0 inches and resolution will be 1080p according to Orange France website. It was expected earlier that it would house a Full HD AMOLED display, but it seems that it will support a QHD display instead. It is also expected to be made more durable with the use of Gorilla Glass 4.
It will also house a 2.5D feature which will make the edge curve on the frame as it is on the iPhone 6.
Rivals
If it comes with these high-end features, it will be expected to compete with smartphones like the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S plus. The Sony Z5 could also be a handset that could rival the HTC one A9. The Sony has a better 5.2-inch display and a 1080p display screen also with fingerprint scanning support. Other rivals could be the Moto G and the One plus Mini if it is available with mid-range specs.

The rear camera is expected to come with a resolution of 13 MP and the front camera is to come with 4MP. These values are not yet official but may be accurate. The front facing camera could house a resolution of 5MP, but the exciting part is, HTC has claimed that the camera would be groundbreaking which means we could expect something spectacular. With an aperture of f/1.9 the smart device is expected to perform well in low light conditions, which is a trademark feature of HTC.

The processor expected to power the device is the Snapdragon 620 processor. The memory available with this device is 3GB, and the built-in storage that would accompany the device would be 32GB. There is also a rumor that the processor that would come with the smartphone would be Snapdragon 617 processor which would clock a speed of 1.5GHz and consist of a memory of 2GB, and the internal storage would be 16GB. The graphical processor expected to power the device is expected to be 1.96GHz deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC.
