While HTC Thunderbolt has 4.3″ WVGA (800 x 480) TFT LCD display with 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 Snapdragon processor and runs Android 2.2.1 (Froyo), which is upgradeable to Android Gingerbread. Both the phones run skinned Android with HTC Sense UI for user experience. However HTC Sensation runs the improved version of the Sense UI, which gives a fresh look to the phone and has many additional multimedia features.Talking about the other differences, it’s a plain fact that HTC Sensation is a 1.2 GHz dual core phone while HTC Thunderbolt has 1GHz single core processor, anyhow HTC Thunderbolt is considered true 4G phone. HTC Sensation 4G is the US version of HTC Sensation (previously known as HTC Pyramid). In US, HTC Thunderbolt has an exclusive tie up with Verizon. HTC Thunderbolt is the first 4G phone to run on Verizons 4G-LTE network (Network support LTE 700, CDMA EvDO Rev.A). Verizon promises 5 to 12 Mbps download speeds and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in 4G Mobile Broadband coverage area. Verizon is offering Thunderbolt for $250 on a new two year contract. Customers have to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk plan and a 4G LTE data package. Nationwide Talk plans starts from $39.99 monthly access and an unlimited 4G LTE data plan begins at $29.99 monthly access. Mobile hotspot is included through May 15 for no additional charge.
its to my understanding , the thunderbolt does NOT have HDMI capabilities. Am I wrong?
