LG Thrill 4G and HTC Evo 3D are two glasses free 3D phones that take the advantage of the 4G network speeds to offer an excellent multimedia and gaming experience to users. HTC Evo 3D is the first glasses free 3D phone from HTC. Both of these 3D phones are Android phones, and have access to Android Market. LG in addtion has a special 3D marketplace called LG 3D Space. The main difference between these two phones is the network support. LG Thrill 4G supports 3G-HSPA+ and 4G-LTE. The US carrier for LG Thrill 4G is AT&T. While, HTC Evo 3D supports 3G-CDMA and 4G WiMAX. The US carrier for HTC Evo 3D is Sprint.

LG Thrill 4G is an Android smart phone officially announced by LG in March 2011. The device was released to the market from August 2011. The device is available in United States with AT & T network. On the outlook, LG Thrill 4G looks quite similar to LG Optimus 3D, and it is available in blue.
The LG Thrill 4G is considerably a big phone with a height of 5.07” and 2.67” of width. The thickness of this LG smart phone is 0.46”. The device is reportedly very responsive and fast. In terms of storage, LG Thrill 4G has 8 GB worth internal storage. Since the device includes a micro SD card slot, users can extend storage up to 32GB with the help of a micro SD card. In terms of connectivity LG Thrill 4G supports GPRS, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. LG Thrill 4G comes with Android 2.2 (Froyo) installed. Android platform has released 2.3 and 4.0 compatible for smart phones after android 2.2. There for one would feel that LG Thrill 4G is quite out dated in terms of software and operating system. However, since Android 2.2 is one of the early releases the operating system is more stable than the latest releases and relatively bug free. This could be one of the reasons for LG to include Android 2.2 in the latest version of LG Thrill 4G. In addition, many applications in the Android Market support Android 2.2, this is also a plus point. The LG Thrill 4G is pre loaded with Google applications such as Google search, Maps and Gmail. The device is also complete with a native YouTube client, Google Talk, document viewer and an editor. LG Thrill 4G is complete with flash support, as well. The user interface on LG Thrill 4G is quite simple and has been customized from the normal Android 2.2 interface. The main feature emphasized in LG Thrill 4G is the 3D factor.
