Motorola Atrix 4G vs T-Mobile G2X – Full Specs Compared
Why are we comparing a mobile that is so popular and firmly entrenched as the top most smartphone in 4 G segment with a phone that has just been launched? Well, no doubt Motorola has proved it prowess with Atrix 4G that is a clear winner but T-Mobile seem to have found the answer in LG’s Optimus 2X that has been renamed as G2X to take on the might of Atrix 4G. Let us make a fair comparison of these two high end smartphones for 4 G customers, for 4 G is where the focus of the major player has shifted to these days.
Motorola Atrix 4G
Forget the past which was full of forgettable offerings from Motorola and concentrate on the present as Atrix 4G is ruling the roost in 4G segment, and why not? With features to put to shame even the most advanced smartphones and looks that could kill, Atrix 4G is perhaps the most popular 4 G smartphone in the country.
It has dimensions of 117.8×63.5x11mm that don’t make it the slimmest smartphone in the country but it is certainly a sleek gadget that is also very robust. It weighs just 135g that is slightly more than Galaxy S2 but then, you have to make some compromises when you are getting the super fast dual core processor and a very powerful battery that last for almost 9 hours of talk time.
Atrix 4G runs on Android 2.2 Froyo and packs the power of 1 GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor that makes all the difference when it comes to multitasking. To cap it all, it has 16 GB of internal storage and a more than powerful 1 GB RAM. Nothing short of a miracle in a small device, isn’t it?
The screen is a nice 4.0 inch LCD using TFT technology. It is a highly capacitive touch screen that gives out a resolution of 540×960 pixels that is super bright and clear. Gorilla Glass screen is scratch resistant and also impact resistant. It has multi touch input and touch sensitive controls that sit atop Motorola’s famous Motoblur UI.

It has a display size of 4 inches on a IPS LCD touch screen which is highly capacitive and gives a resolution of 480×800 pixels that produces extremely bright images. It has all the features of a smartphone that have become almost standard now a days such as accelerometer, proximity sensor, gyro sensor and a 3.5 mm audio jack at the top of the phone.
It uses the Android 2.2 Froyo OS and has a powerful 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 AP20H dual core processor. The phone has 8 GB of internal storage and a solid 512 MB of RAM. The phone is Wi_fi 802.11b/g/n, DLNA, GPA with A-GPS, EDGE, GPRS, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, and supports HSPA+ network which offers theoretical speeds of up to 21 Mbps for download.
For those fond of clicking and sharing photos, there are two cameras on the phone.
