Motorola Pro vs Apple iPhone 4

Motorola Pro and iPhone 4 are another two competitors in the smartphone market. The smartphone Droid made by Motorola, being called Pro for Europe is really an excellent choice for all those busy executives always on the move who had earlier been dependent upon Apple’s iPhone 4 only. Let us take a closer look at the features of two of the latest smartphones that have caught the imagination of the people the world over.

Motorola Pro

This is the latest Droid from Motorola that arrives for those who work hard but then also play hard. It is a smartphone that is a business phone at one instant and a casual, playful media savvy phone the very next moment. It realizes when to work hard just like you but also becomes playful when you are free. It keeps your productivity at its highest with features that let you remain in touch with office. Let us se what has it in store for you.

Motorola Pro is Motorola Droid made for Europe. The only difference is that Pro supports fast HSPA data and is made to work with GSM networks. It has a 3.1” capacitive touchscreen, a fast 1GHz processor, a decent 5megapixel camera that has both auto focus and dual flash, Wi-Fi connectivity with a 2GB internal memory expandable with micro SD cards. This smartphone runs on Android 2.2 Froyo OS and has the famous MotoBlur UI for a smooth and pleasant experience for the users. Candybar shaped Pro has a combo of optimized full QWERTY keyboard and touch screen for input, enabling sending mails easy. It can become a mobile hotspot and comes with Adobe Flash Player for a rich web browsing experience. With dimensions of 4.69”x2.36’x0.46”, Pro weighs only 134gm and is quite handy.

Pro is your phone and allows you to customize the home page the way you desire. You can choose from email, social network, or even news if you so desire. You also get to choose from thousands of apps from the Android market to personalize your Pro even more. Talking of multimedia capabilities, Pro has a music player with excellent audio quality and video playback in HD.

iPhone 4

Though Apple lovers hate any comparison of their iPhone with any other phone as it is much more than a phone for them it is time for a reality check? Here is a description of what is in store for iPhone lovers in iPhone 4.

iPhone 4 has dimensions of 4.5×2.31×0.37 inches and weighs 137g. The screen is LED backlit TFT, capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors. At 3.5”, the screen is quite big and has a resolution of 960×640 pixels. The cover is scratch resistant and the set has accelerometer and proximity sensor to go off when the user is away. The smartphone has 512MB RAM and 16GB internal memory with a 32GB version also available. For connectivity, there is Bluetooth v2.1 and it is Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n ([email protected] only) enabled.

iPhone has a 5megapixels camera that is auto focus with LED flash. It makes HD videos and also plays back. The smartphone runs on iOS 4with a fast processor that is 1GHz Apple A4. For web browsing there is SAFARI. The phone is GPS enabled. iPhone is fitted with non removable lithium battery with a capacity of 1420mAH with a talk time of up to 14 hr for 2G and 7hr for 3G.
