Muppets vs Sesame Street
If you are a parent of a preschooler, you must be aware of The Sesame Street that happens to be a craze among small kids. When Jim Henson created puppets in the shape of stuffed toys way back in 1954, little did the world know that these puppets would one day rule small kids mind and help in teaching them concepts and facts in a fun filled manner through a TV series. Jim added many characters to the original few, and always emphasized that these characters called Muppets were only a made up word and meant nothing. The copyrights of all the characters shown on the TV series ‘The Sesame Street’ remain with Sesame Workshop, though, the company paid royalty from the earnings to The Jim Henson Company. Rests of the characters made by Jim were purchased by Walt Disney in 2004. The most famous Muppets in history have been Big Bird, Elmo, Miss Piggy, Robin the Frog, Sam the Eagle, and so on.
