Ranbir Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor are two of the hottest young male actors in Bollywood today. Both of them belong to parents with film background. Shahid is the son of famous character actor Pankaj Kapoor and classical dancer Neelima Azeem while Ranbir is the son of Neetu and Rishi Kapoor who were once a very popular pair on silver screen. Both Shahid and Ranbir are good looking and heartthrob of millions of teenagers, especially girls across the country. Shahid Kapoor

Of the two rising stars of the film industry, Shahid started early and was seen as a model in advertisements when he was a small kid. In films, he made his entry as a background dancer in Subhash Ghai’s Taal in 1999. His first film as a hero was Ishq Vishq that came in 2003. Though the film was not a hit at the box office, Shahid’s good looks and acting talent was much appreciated by the audience. However, it was Jab We Met with Kareena Kapoor that transformed Shahid into a teen heartthrob and a star that he is today. His on screen chemistry with Kareena mesmerized the audience and his innocent looks coupled with an emotive face got him a huge fan following. Since then, Shahid has not looked back and has done many more films that have done well at the box office such as Kismet Connection with Vidya Balan. Shahid is a very good dancer and has shown his penchant for comedy in a few roles so far.

Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir started his career as an assistant director in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black who was so impressed by this good looking boy that he offered him the lead role in his next film Saawariya. The film also starred Sonam Kapoor, daughter of Anil Kapoor. The film bombed at the box office but everyone loved the chubby, innocent boy who reminded the audience of his father Rishi when he was young. Ranbir’s next film was Bachna Ae Haseeno along side Deepika Padukone that was a roaring success at the box office and made him a star. Since then, Ranbir has worked in many films and given memorable performances in films like Wake up Sid and Rocket Singh. His role as a political heir in Rajneeti was very much appreciated by the audiences. Good thing about Ranbir is that despite his good looks and dancing abilities, he has paid attention to variety in the roles he has done in his films. Whereas he was a chocolate lover boy in Bachna Ae Haseno, he appeared as a suave and mature person in Rajneeti.
