Robotyrannus and Roboreptile are names of the models of toys made by a toy company WowWee Ltd. These are based upon the real creatures that existed and ruled the world with brute power, but these are miniature toys that walk and scream just like real ones.
Roboreptile
It is a robot toy that has infrared eyes and sound sensors, and it has been designed to explore the environment on its own while at the same time avoiding obstacles. It can simulate the real behaviors of these giant animals as it can stand on its hind legs and even attack. Roboreptile was launched in 2006 in China and was later released to all other parts of the world.
Robotyrannus
Robotyrannus is in fact a variation of Roboreptile and looks completely different as it has horns and a dorsal fin. This Roboreptile is one that has become very popular in the US, UK and Canada. In the US, it is referred to as a Roboreptile and not with its special name which is Robotyrannus.
These are not funny looking animals as those who have purchased will vouch. They operate in three modes which are happy, hungry and hooded. When hungry, which is the natural or default mode of Roboreptile, he is ready to attack. When he is angry, you see a feisty, fast moving little robot. Whether Roboreptile of Robotyrannus there is nothing cute about these toys but children all over the world are just crazy about them.
