Snake bites and spider bites show great differences between them. Snake bite pierces further apart, to be more precise, one on each side of lower lip. On the other hand the spider bites pierces are seen to next to each other and that too on the same side.

A black widow spider leaves two marks when she bites. It is interesting to note that the marks appear like red fang marks. There is another variety of spider called the brown recluse spider. When it bites, it is normal that the skin turns red and finally develops a white mark.
