Africa has the world second largest populated regions. The two poles of the area; the south and North African regions are quite apart from each other. They have a long distance between them. There are a lot many similarities in both the areas. All over the Africa, the economy is quite poor, and the ethnicity and historical backgrounds are vey much same for both of these states. Population rate is increasing in both the areas and these regions are also facing an increase in the population growth of the wild animals.

Talking about the Southern side of the African region, there is located the area of South Africa, which is known to have a diverse culture in every way. Talking about the ways of life and other cultural aspects of this region it must be remembered that this area has three major cities in which people from different backgrounds are living from centuries. Johannesburg is the capital of the state. Parliamentary system is applied in all the law and order situations. The over all population in this region is very poor and the area carries a number of ethnic groups and languages. As far as the official languages are concerned, then this region has nine of the official and many other unofficial languages. More often temperate climatic conditions are observed here. Although it has a low GDP rate but this state is a nuclear power and has all the modern technological facilities available. Whether it be agriculture or export sector, this state is good at all. Having the natural beauty, this state offers comfortable and adventurous lives to the visitors and the inhabitants.

When the Northern pole of the Africa comes in due consideration, it is the North Africa that is located at that side. We can clearly state that the Sahara desert is sort of a blockade between this piece of land with the over all continent. Northern part of Africa comprises of the cities that are totally seven in number with different capitals, different diversities, and areas. It must be noticed that although this state also provides shelter to a lot many ethnic groups but the Muslim, Jewish and Christianity culture is predominantly seen here. Majorly the area of the region is covered by the deserts and dry paths. The overall population is sparsely distributed. A lot of changes in the cultures are seen with the passage of time.

The major difference between the two regions is in their locality. Both are situated on the two opposite poles of the Africa. With some what similarities the differences are also there. Another difference that is seen mainly in the Northern side is that this region holds mostly the Arabs and precisely the Muslims and in the same way the Arabic is used commonly here as compared to its usage in the other part. As far as the weather conditions are concerned, the Southern area is better in climatic range, this part is cooler than the other one. South Africa is a country and smaller as compared to the state of the North Africa. The Northern side mainly is linked to the Sahara dessert. The family bonding is stronger in the Southern side. Johannesburg is the capital of the South Africa and in the North Africa, Algeria has estimated larger area.
