Talent Finder vs Business Plus

LinkedIn is a professional networking site that has over hundred million profiles that includes not only small and big companies but also of millions of individual people who are talented and come together to share their views and opinions on a variety of topics. LinkedIn provides a wonderful platform to prospective employers to look for talent in this amazing pool of individuals. This is why the site offers different subscription plans to companies and recruiters that can benefit from the features of these plans. Among various subscription plans, Business Plan and Talent Finder are two very popular ones that are being utilized by big and small companies to find the talent that they are looking for. These are similar yet, different plans that have different features that have their own pros and cons.

Irrespective of the type of account you have on LinkedIn (such as free, business, business plus, executive, pro, talent basic, talent finder, talent pro, or recruiter), you are free to get access to all public profiles although with a basic or free account you may have to cross several hurdles and may not get to see what you want. With over 50% of Fortune 500 companies having their profiles on LinkedIn and constantly searching for that elusive talent through LinkedIn, it is accounts like Business Plus and Talent Finder that recruiters get a competitive edge over other employers in getting to the talent they are looking for.

If there are 20 different recruiters looking for candidates with same experience and skill set, they would probably unearth similar results. However, with premium accounts such as Business Plus or Talent Finder, some companies are able to find profiles that basic account holders do not. If you hold a premium account such as Talent Finder, you can hope to use more talent filters thus getting to profiles that you will never se with a basic account. On the other hand, Business Plus is a paid account that has a fee of $49.99 per month and allows you 10 InMails per month, 500 profiles per search and 25 folders in the Profile Organizer. If you pay one year’s fee in advance, you get two extra months for free.
