Barzin Samimi says
Your interpretation is incorrect as to the difference between the meanings of therapy and treatment. One may be treated for a disease, illness or an injury, but he may be cured or not by that treatment which in that sense really means dealing with some disease, illness, injury, but therapy generally refers to an step or series of steps and medical applications or surgery(ies) intended to cure a person, whether physically or psychologically. The possibility of cure is far higher in the application of the word therapy than in treatment.
