What is the difference between UK Version and US Version of the Maximum Ride Books?

One major difference between the US and UK version is the difference in spellings of some words. Words like realize are spelled as realise and favourite as favorite, which is a normal thing considering the colloquial nature of language in the US. This was bound to happen as the novels are American in origin. Another major difference lies in the designing of cover of the US and UK editions. The designing of UK covers is much more attractive with motifs and colors than the bland designing of US covers, which is why many readers in the US opt to order UK versions instead of purchasing these novels in their own markets.

One thing that has surprised many is the late arrival of Maximum Ride books in the US. The book (Fang) arrived in UK on February 5, and it took another 40 days for the book to appear in the US. Some believe it was done deliberately to test waters in the west.
