What is Village Life?
The village is a settlement or community for human beings. The village is bigger as compared to Hamlet and the number of people living in villages can lie anywhere between hundreds to thousands. Villages are situated over an area for a long period of time and have only short distance between one village to the other village. Villages are a permanent settlement for living without much of its area, and they are mostly situated as a locality that is dispersed. Villages, in early life, were a portion of the community that uses agriculture as its main living practice. Hamlets, in Great Britain, were called villages when a church had been built in them. In most of the countries, villages are having a small percentage of the population which is living at these villages when compared to all the population of the country. The population in villages has further decreased with the revolution in different industries causing a lot of people from villages to go to cities and towns. With the developing areas in towns and cities, more and more people continue to go to these areas leaving villages behind. Villages in different parts of the world have been an important part of the society and living areas of human beings.
What is Town Life?
Towns are settlements where human beings live. The town is a word used for an area of living which is smaller than a city but is larger than a village in terms of area and population. Different parts of the world use different size of the area that can be called a town. The word ‘town’ giving to an area completely depends on the country where it is situated, and this varies from countries to countries. For example, Americans use the term ‘Small Towns’ for some of its areas while British would classify those towns as villages because they are hardly bigger than British villages. On the other hand, the areas that British classify as ‘Small Towns’ are so big in area and population that they are called cities in the United States.

The town areas allow people to take benefits from a number of facilities provided making various ways for them to make money. Also, the town areas offer better educational facilities to children. Children in towns can get a better education with better schools as compared to villages. Also, the town areas provide people with better facilities as far as health services are concerned. Shopping is another factor that needs to be discussed, people in town have better options for shopping while village population has a few opportunities for shopping and in most cases, and people from village often have to visit a nearby town for most of their shopping. Behavior is another factor that is different in the people of town and village. People in town don’t have time for others and are not friendly at most of the times.
