Ajay Devgan has a film background as his father Veeru Devgan is a famous stunt director. He was born in 1969 in a Punjabi family and was named Vishal. He had his schooling in Mumbai at Mithibai College. He made his debut in Bollywood with Phool Aur Kaante in 1991 which was a super hit and made him a star overnight. His acting talent was appreciated by the audience and his acting abilities that have kept him in good stead in a long career despite having given several flops in between. Ajay, like his father was an action hero in his earlier films though with age he has mellowed down and has worked in meaningful cinema with films like Gangajal and Rajneeti. He has many hit films to his credit and has also won many film awards. He has worked with all top actresses like Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai and is recognized as a very good actor. Akshay Kumar

Nicknamed khiladi because of many films containing the word, Akshay made a successful start to his career with Saugandh in 1991. His next film Khiladi turned him into an action hero. Since then, he has given a lot of hit films. Akshay specialized in thrilling films and maintained the image of a lover boy till late in his career. He has so far worked in nearly a hundred films with a majority being hit at the box office.

Akshay also has worked in reality shows on TV and his Khatron Ke Khiladi and Master Chef proved to be quite successful. He is one actor who has stayed away from all controversies, and is considered to be a lucky actor as most of his films do well at the box office. His name was linked with both Raveena and Shilpa who were his heroines in films. In 2001, Akshay finally married with Twinkle, daughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadiya, actress of yester years. Akshay has received Padma Shree award from the government of India for his contribution in the field of art through cinema.
