Also, referred simply as B.Com or BCom, Bachelor of Commerce, is a 3-4 year degree course that makes students eligible to enter the finance and banking industries apart from becoming eligible to undertake the exams of Chartered Accountancy course. The content of the course is so designed to make a student skilled and experienced to take a plunge in the world of accounting, finance, and other business principles.
Bachelor of Business vs Bachelor of Commerce
Both Bachelor of Commerce as well as Bachelor of Business are undergraduate level courses designed to impart education to students in the field of business and to prepare them for higher studies in this field. There is not much of a difference in the course and the content, with some Universities calling their course bachelor of Commerce while others preferring the term Bachelor of Business. While Bachelor of Business is common in Australia and New Zealand, Bachelor of Commerce is more common in Commonwealth countries. Interestingly, B. Com is not being offered in colleges in UK anymore.
