Difference between business class and first class is a very interesting area to know when you want to fly in comfort. Business class and first class are for people who do not mind spending extra dollars for comfort travel. Although business class offers comfort, first class offers more legroom and luxury seats that can be turned in to full sized flat bed. Some airlines also offer private suites with beds. There is also some difference between them when it comes to amenities provided in both the classes. However, at present, as a result of all the improvements done in business class there is a possibility of first class being removed from flights all together.

What is First Class?

In first class, there is more space when compared to the space provided in the business class. The front of the plane is allocated for first class. Best cabin crews are allocated to serve the first class and passengers get individual attention. The food served also is just better in the first class and unlimited. It is said that these food is cooked by a chef. Most first class menus include food items such as lobster and caviar. Also, first class passengers are provided with choice of wines. Most importantly the check in time is much quicker in the case of first class. They are given the first priority during boarding and embarking.

Individual satellite telephones are offered in first class. You would always prefer to travel with a little bit of more seat comfort. This is especially true in the case of long travels. There is much of a difference between the business class and first class when it comes to the seat comfort. The seats provided in the first class are much different when compared to those provided in the business class. The seats in the first class swivel in such a way so that one can have conference or discussion with the people near him. This kind of seat facility is not seen in majority of the business classes in the planes. It should be known that traveling in first class is almost three times costlier than traveling in economy class.

However, they are offered seats with the ability to recline about 1700 degrees. According to Business Insider, airlines are paying more and more to improve seats. Most of them are included in the business class as business class is made for individuals who are travelling for professional purposes, specially. So, first class may offer you more space, but by now, the seat comfort is getting as same as the business class. Due to these changes in the business class, which offers you a full meal, a comfortable seat many airlines are planning on completely removing the first class. According to Business Insider, while Delta Airlines, Air New Zealand, and Air Canada have already gotten rid of first class completely, others, like American and United, plan to dramatically downsize. Most specially, travelling in business class is less expensive than first class when you can have almost the same comfortable travel experience.
