Cloud Hosting and Dedicated hosting both are two different technologies used in IT infrastructure for hosting environment. Cloud computing or Cloud Hosting is kind of a VPS (Virtual Private Server) hosting with dedicated resources. The major advantage of Cloud Hosting is scalability, cost effective and easy management. For an instance, assume that you bought a cloud server with 2 GB RAM, Dual Core and 120 GB server space but your requirements are increased to 160 GB server space with 4 GB RAM with a month, then it’s very easy and faster to expand the existing hosting plan to meet the new requirements. The only disadvantage on cloud hosting or cloud server arrangements is, if you need more fine tuning on software and hardware stack, that’s not possible in cloud servers but it’s possible in dedicated hosting.
