Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan are two very successful male actors of Indian film industry (Bollywood). While Shah Rukh is older of the two and debuted way back in 1987, Hrithik started his career as a child artist and his first film as a hero was Kaho Na Pyar Hai that was released in 2001. Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik is the son of Rakesh Roshan, an actor of yester years and a successful producer of films today. Hrithic started as a child artist in films like Asha and Bhagwan Dada. His first film as a hero was Kaho Na Pyar Hai which created record of sorts at the box office becoming the biggest blockbuster of the year in 2001. The film bagged over one hundred awards. It was a film produced by his father to launch him in Bollywood. Since then, Hrithik has not looked back and has given stellar performances in different roles in films like Fiza, Koi Mil Gaya, Kabhi Khushi kabhi Gam, Jodha Akbar, and Guzarish. His performance in Dhoom mesmerized millions of people across the country. He played the role of a super hero in Krish and is rumored to have performed all the stunts in the film himself.

Hrithik is one actor who never repeats himself and his every new character is awaited patiently by his admirers. He is a perfectionist who believes in giving his best all the time. Shah Rukh Khan

Nicknamed Badshah Khan, Shah Rukh Khan is truly a super star and Numero Uno in Bollywood when it comes to male actors. He has been virtually ruling Mumbai film industry ever since he made his debut in Bazigar opposite Shilpa Shetty and Kajol in 1987. Most of his films have been hits at the box office and he has a fan following all over the world. Born on November 2, 1965, Shah Rukh is a good nine years older than Hrithik.

Shah Rukh was a bright student and excelled in academics while at the same time being active in sports and cultural programs. He graduated from hansraj College in economics and later did Mass Communication from Jamia Milia University. He started his acting career with TV serials such as Fauji and Circus. His talent was appreciated and soon got his chance to play a hero in Bazigar. Since then, he has given stellar performances and regaled the audiences with his antics in all his subsequent films, most of which have been hits. His performances in Swades and My Name Is Khan are especially praiseworthy.

Shah Rukh is an avid sports lover and he did Chak De India that is credited with ushering a revolution of sorts in the field of Hockey in the country. He is the owner of the Kolkota Knight Riders team in the IPL.
