These are specifically designed to be erotic and appealing to the eyes. The type of cotton intimate apparels use is different from standard undergarment clothes, which use cotton materials. Hosiery

Hosiery pertains to clothes that are worn directly on one’s legs and feet. Its name came from the collective word for products, where the maker is known as the hosier and the items (goods) are commonly known as hose. Because of its close or tight fit, they are commonly worn as under/outer garments. Furthermore, it is used for all kinds of knitted fabrics and made from various knitting methods. The types of hosieries include stockings, socks, tights, leggings, pantyhose, knee high socks and many more.

Difference between Intimate Apparel and Hosiery

Intimate apparel is different from hosiery since this undergarment is exclusively worn by women while hosiery can be worn by both. Hosiery is more of a leg wear like stockings, leggings socks and etc.; compared to intimate apparel which is commonly worn as a whole both upper and lower part of your body like a nightgown, night-robe and underwear. Intimate apparels also focus on looking erotic and appealing while hosiery does not have that kind of purpose. In addition, the kinds of fabric use for both undergarments are also different.
