iPad2 Wi-Fi and Nook Colour are two amazing mobile devices. iPad 2 is the latest tablet PC from Apple while Nook Colour is the latest e-reader from Barnes & Noble. Nook was introduced as a reply to Amazon’s Kindle, but now both Nook and Kindle face threat from iPad and other Android based tablets that have more features than these e-readers. However Nook Color has integrated some social features to the device to make it attractive and has included colour touch screen. It has a 7 inch VividView color touch screen that gives a rich reading experience. The advantage Nook has is the low pricing. The Nook Colour Wi-Fi with 8GB in built memory will cost only $249, whereas iPad 2 Wi-Fi only with 16GB memory will cost $499.
Applications: Application is a key factor in the purchase decision, so we will look in to that before going into other features. With Apple iPad 2 you can surf the web, check emails, read and edit office documents, video chat with FaceTime, watch movies, listen to music, play games, read and write and create your own album with iMovie and Garaageband.
