It has comparatively low pixel density, but it sure scores good compared to other smartphones in the market. Droid Razr Maxx boasts a heavy build; ‘Built to take a Beating’ is how they put it. Razr Maxx is shielded with KEVLAR strong back plate, to suppress onslaught scratches and scrapes. The screen is made up of Corning Gorilla glass that defends the screen and a water-repellent force field of nanoparticles are used to shield the phone against water attacks. Feeling impressed? Well I sure am, for this is military standard safety for a smartphone.

It doesn’t matter how much it’s reinforced outside, if it’s not reconciled inside. But Motorola has delicately undertaken that responsibility and come up with a set of high-end hardware to match the outside. Motorola Droid Razr Maxx enjoys ferociously fast network speeds using Verison’s turbo-boosted 4G LTE speeds. It also facilitates the Wi-Fi connectivity with the built in Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n module and has the ability to act as a hotspot. Razor has an active noise cancellation with dedicated mic and a digital compass. It also has a HDMI port which is a very valuable edition as a multimedia device. It does not boast of completely redesigned sound system, but Razr Maxx does not fail to exceed expectations in that too. Motorola has promised an amazing talk time of 12 hours 30 mins with a 1780mAh battery for Razr, and that certainly exceeds expectations in any case for a large phone like this. The differentiation of Razr and Razr Maxx lies in the awesome battery life Razr Maxx has to offer. As we can see, when Motorola evolved from Razr to Razr Maxx, the thickness of the phone was increased and so was the weight. Now you know the reason, for you are witnessing the smartphone with the highest capacity battery in Droid Razr Maxx. The 3300mAh battery promises 21 hours of talk time with a single charge, over 6 hours of video streaming with LTE enabled and two and half days’ worth of music while in airplane mode. Need I say more to indicate that Droid Razr Maxx beats all known records of battery lives in smartphone market?

Yet another conclusion of two handsets that are too alike to differentiate. Thank fully, these two comes with a difference that is simply undeniable. The Motorola Droid 4 is essentially a slightly smaller version of Motorola Droid Razr Maxx that adds a QWERTY keypad to the combination. It is a widely spread concept that sliding QWERTY keyboards boosts productivity and thus ideal for business professionals. While I’m not agreeing with the productive perspective since you can work way faster with virtual QWERTY keyboards like SWYPE, the feel of a button been pressed is lacking in virtual keypads. This is of course been compensated by haptic feedbacks, but there may still be people who would go specifically for a hard keypad. The next difference between these two is the apparent boost in battery life Motorola Droid Razr Maxx has. As we have been saying, it has become the smartphone with the best battery life overnight and, for a handset of this caliber, it is amazing to be able to work a full 24 hours cycle with a single charge. That been said, all the other features are identical in Motorola Droid 4 and Motorola Droid Razr Maxx. I would personally go for Droid Razr Maxx because I’m rather fond about smartphones with a long battery life, but that’s just me, making up your mind on which one to invest is going to be your subjective decision.
