The term ‘management’ is extremely prevalent in the business world and is as common over there, as it is in everyday life. The only thing to consider is either we need to manage our own tasks and routines or do the same, at a bigger level and for other people and organizations. Human Resource Management is a term mostly used in enterprises, organizations, and companies. It’s a sort of a strategic plan which does the same job of management but in a more systematic and bigger level.

Personal management is something not new to us. We all are familiar with it since the time we actually started to feel the need of managing our life, routine and everything about it. Personal management can be considered to be an organized plan which requires a bit of pre-setting, some sort of long-term goals, objectives, and an authentic, fool-proof means of achieving that goal. Though it sounds easy but once you get down to practically manage your personal life, you realize that it can be as difficult as anything. You need to be focused, determined, and strong-willed at all times and no matter what, you need to keep trying and working towards your goal.

Human Resource Management can be taken as a pure and strict business term which is used when organizations and big set-ups are need to be run in a systematic, strategic, and guided manner by the right kind of people. For this purpose, ach organization sets their personal Human resource department which is responsible to hire people for performing various tasks and carrying out different duties which are appropriate for them. Sometimes the purpose of the HR Department of any company is to ensure whether the current group of people are enough to run that specific company successfully and easily or does it need a greater amount of relevant people who will be helpful in the managing and carrying out of tasks, goals, and objectives of the company.

Although personal management and human resource management can easily be categorized as two different aspects altogether yet the core of the matter in both these terminologies is the same- management, the only difference is that of the situation and the amount of people. In personal management, people are working individually towards their personal goals while in human resource management, a lot of people are working towards one common goal, sharing common interests and aims. In both of the above mentioned situations, there is a constant and clear-cut need of clarity about whatever goals an individual or a group of people have. This is crucial because if your goals are vague, your efforts can go haywire and the whole idea can turn out to be a waste. So always be sure of your goals in either of the cases and also of the plan you need to work on.
