Samsung Galaxy S II(2) (GT-i9100) and LG Optimus 3D are two of the new entrants to join the smartphone family with extraordinary features. Both are running on Android Gingerbread OS. Samsung introduced Galaxy S II as the world’s thinnest smartphone while LG Optimus 3D comes with the introduction as the first 3D smartphone. Both Galaxy S II and Optimus 3D are packed with 1.0 GHz dual core processors and huge 4.3″ display. The major differences between Samsung Galaxy S II (GT-i9100) and LG Optimus 3D are going to be the camera.  LG Optimus 3D chip set is to contain dual core, dual channel and dual main memory which will improve the efficiency. And when compared to the ARM Cortex A8 processor, this has 150% performance increase. Samsung Galaxy S II also appears to contain the same chip set.

Talking about camera, LG Optimus 3D stands out with its first 3D camera in a phone. It features a dual lens camera for 3D recording and a LCD display that supports glasses free 3D viewing. LG also teaming up with YouTube to upload the 3D content to YouTube for sharing. The other features of LG Optimus 3D are yet to be confirmed.
