All of us know that math is a science of numbers related concepts. Math is introduced very early to a kid and continues till late through student life (longer if a student chooses to major in math). He proved that all problems in modern math can be solved through 16 basic sutras or formulae. These are not mathematical but mental formulae that guide a student towards appropriate method of solving a sum.
Vedic Math is different from traditional math in the sense that it is coherent and instead of different techniques used for different problems, it uses its feature of coherence to solve the problems. Vedic math is simple and makes a student perform the steps involved in solving a problem mentally. It is more flexible and systematic than traditional math and instead of forcing a pupil to stick to a prescribed method; Vedic math encourages a student to come up with his own creative and unique solving method.
