4G Smartphones Motorola CLIQ 2 vs T-Mobile myTouch 4G

Motorola Cliq 2 and T-Mobile myTouch 4G are two of the next generation smartphones to run on the latest 4G networks. Both Motorola Cliq 2 and T-Mobile myTouch 4G  are available on T-Mobile’s 4G network in United States. T-Mobile will be adding Samsung Galaxy S 4G (Samsung Vibrant 4G) to this line up in February 2011. Motorola Cliq 2 with Motoblur is a slider phone with the full physical QWERTY keypad. Motorola boasts that the keypad is intelligently designed with large keys for accurate typing and the distance between keys shortened for fast typing. It has everything you looked for in a smartphone, entertainment with preloaded Blockbuster on Demand, Amazon Kindle with thousands of ebooks and business ready with corporate directory and integrated LinkedIn. T-Mobile myTouch 4G is a specially designed device from HTC for T-Mobile.  myTouch 4G is an attractive candy bar with a bright 3.8″ WVGA touch screen, high speed 1 GHz processor and 5 megapixel camera. The device supports 3G and 4G networks. Both Motorola Cliq 2 and T-Mobile myTouch 4G running Android 2.2 will have access to Android Market with over 200,000 applications.

T-Mobile claims that with their fastest HSPA+ network theoretically the download speed can go up to 21 Mbps. The 4G smartphones, that are slowly lining up with each carrier are going to take you to a new experience with the high speed of the 4G networks, it going to make the device an entertainment hub. Multimedia Applications will have a new dimension at the 4G speed supported by other features like high speed processors, high resolution wide angle screens, Wi-Fi hotspot, faster connectivity, HDMI and DLNA. You can be creative with the powerful cameras in-built in the devices with HD video recording; you can share your creations with others in the social network or on a flat screen with family. With 4G it’s going to be amazing experience.

Motorola CLIQ 2

Motorola Cliq 2 with Motoblur powered by Android 2.2 and 1GHz processor is a powerful device with many weird features. The features include 3.7″ FWVGA (854 x 480) light responsive display, 1GHZ processor, 1GB RAM, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 5.0 megapixel camera and many more. It’s brilliant to have a 4G phone in slider form with the physical full QWERTY key pad.

In addition to Android market, Cliq 2 comes preloaded with Blockbuster on Demand for movie lovers and Amazon Kindle for book lovers and its business ready with Advanced Calendar, Corporate directory look up and built in LinkedIn integration.

If it works well the battery talk time of 7.9 hrs will give an edge over the other devices for Motorola Cliq 2. However Motorola Cliq 2 is bulkier than my Touch 4G.

T-Mobile myTouch 4G

myTouch 4G from HTC designed for T-Mobile is another amazing Android 2.2 phone coming to give you the 4G experience with T-Mobile’s fastest 4G network. The sleek candy bar slimmer than Cliq 2 is featuring 3.8” high resolution WVGA screen with 1GHz snapdragon processor, 5.0 mega pixel camera with LED flash, VGA front facing camera, HD video recording, 8GB microSD card included, Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and 768MB RAM.

T-Mobile supports Wi-Fi calling over your home or work wireless network and Mobile hotspot.
