Communism vs Marxism
Difference between Communism and Marxism is a topic that is very much interesting for someone, who loves to know about different political ideologies. Communism and Marxism, though they are two political concepts that do not differ by a great degree, show some differences between them in terms of some of the aspects in their concepts. If someone claims that they see some similarity between Communism and Marxism, there is a perfectly good explanation for that. When Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels wrote the Communist Manifesto, they spoke about a theory that will change the society. That theory is Marxism. Once the society has gone through those changes, the final stage it reaches is Communism.
What is Marxism?
Marxism is all about theoretical interpretation of the principles. Marxism aims at the framework or theoretical approach by which a state where everyone is equal is developed. Marxism is all about the analysis of the different aspects of the state in which there is no difference between the rich and the poor. Marxism is a kind of philosophy that is based on the materialistic interpretation of history. A Marxist gives a lot of importance to the history and says that man is driven by the forces created by the quality of needs and wants.

The basic theory of Marxism is that there is a class struggle between classes in capitalist states. This is a struggle because workers are underpaid while the bourgeoisie enjoys the profit of the sweat of the unfortunate workers. As a result, a proletariat revolution erupts from these workers. This revolution is supposed to put an end to the class struggle.
What is Communism?
Communism is the practical implementation of Marxism. Communism is reached after Marxism is put into action. Communism is a more organized way wherein, a kind of a political system is developed in which all become one and the same. Communism aims at the state of being recognized with equality. Moreover, a Communist does not give that much of importance to history and focuses on maintaining a society that is equal to all. In Communism, the means of production is owned by the public. There is also no private ownership.

What is the difference between Marxism and Communism?
• One of the main differences between Communism and Marxism is that Communism is the practical implementation of Marxism whereas Marxism is all about theoretical interpretation of the principles.
• Marxism is the theory or the framework on which the foundation for the political and economical ideology of Communism is built.
• Communism aims at the state of being recognized with equality whereas Marxism aims at the framework or theoretical approach by which such a kind of state is developed.
• Marxism is all about the analysis of the different aspects of the state in which there is no difference between the rich and the poor. Communism is a more organized way wherein, a kind of a political system is developed in which all become one and the same.
• The ideology of a Marxist is slightly different from that of a Communist. A Marxist focuses on bringing about the social change. A Communist focuses about maintaining a society where everyone is equal.
• A society where Marxism first takes place is full of class struggles as the workers are eternally manipulated and exploited by the bourgeoisie. In a society with Communism, everyone is paid fairly for the labour they provide.
• In a society where Marxism takes place, the working class is crushed because the bourgeoisie owns the three of the means of production (capital, land, and entrepreneurship). In Communism, no private ownership is allowed. All the means of production, as well as other natural resources, are owned by the public.
