The predecessor of this phone, the Galaxy S6 Edge was released in March. There are no significant improvements made to the plus version of the phone compared to its sibling. But as the name suggests, it comes with a larger screen which is further enriched with the curved display. This model could be considered the first large screen smartphone with a curved screen produced to date. The design of the phone is futuristic, attractive and impressive.

The smartphone comes with a massive 5.7 inch screen with the curves which is a bit uncomfortable to hold. The device has a small footprint. The glass back cover is attractive but also attracts fingerprints. Almost all the features that were built into the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge are found in the Galaxy S6 edge plus. The edges of the Samsung Galaxy are a bit sharp which make it uncomfortable to the hand.

The phones dimensions stand at 154.4 x 75.8 x 6.9 mm for the Samsung model.

The graphics are powered by ARM Mali-T760 MP8 GPU. The RAM has a memory of 4GB, which is LPDDR4. There also comes UFS 2.0 which has excessive read and write speeds.

Design

The design of the LG G4 is modest with a leather back cover. It is also attractive in a way but lacks the premium feel of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge plus smartphone. The advantage of the LG G4 is that it does not attract finger prints and has a lesser chance of cracking when it falls on the floor. The LG G4 has smooth curves which make it comfortable to hold in the hand.
