There are many books of importance when it comes to finding meaning of life and dealing with its problems, but none comes even close to the Bible. People have loved the religious book of the Christians, and there have also been people who differ from the views of the bible though all accept that it is the cornerstone of civilization and a leading light for hundreds of millions of Christians around the world. There is another term Gospel that confuses some of the faithful adherents because of the literal meaning of the word good news or god spell. Bible
Bible is the religious book of the Christians just as Quran is for the Muslims, or Gita is for the Hindus. It is believed to be the word of god and the entire scripture that contains both the Old Testament, as well as the New Testament. The fact that these stories were written by different authors make their versions different, but there is also a remarkable unity in this difference.

Bible makes mention of the word Gospel a number of times. The literal meaning of the word in Greek is good news. Thus, it is the message of the god to the mankind. However, there are 4 different books by the name of Gospel inside bible that tell us all about the life and sacrifice of Jesus such as the gospel of Matthews etc. The central message of the bible remains the fact that God loved mankind so much that he gave away his only son for the salvation of human beings.
