HTC Sensation is the latest sensation from HTC. It is a next generation phone with dual-core processor and a large display. Apple iPhone 4 was acclaimed as the best phone in 2010 and used as a benchmark for smartphones, but from Q1 2011 many new phones are introduced with dual core processors that are compatible with the high speed 4G or HSPA+ networks. HTC Sensation is one such device with 1.2 GHz dual core processor and 768MB RAM. HTC Sensation is using the same chipset used in Evo 3D, a second generation Qualcomm MSM8660 Snapdragon chipset that consists of 1.2 GHz dual core Scopion CPU and Adreno 220 GPU, which will deliver high speed and performance efficiency while eating less power. It also features a 4.3 inches QHD (960 x 540 pixels) display and sports 8MP camera that can capture 1080p HD videos. And it’s compatible with HSPA+ network.

Whereas iPhone 4 is built with 1GHz A4 processor with 512MB RAM, 3.5 inches 960 x 640 pixels display and 5MP camera. It does not support HSPA+ or 4G networks. However, the iPhone 4 display is the best in PPI, and it’s more sharp and clear. The operating system used in HTC Sensation is the Android’s latest version for phones, Android 2.3.3. Whereas iPhone 4 runs Apple proprietary operating system, the iOS 4.2.1, which can be now upgraded to the latest iOS 4.3.1 via iTunes.The Apple UI is very simple and fast and so far the Apple Apps Store is the best place for application downloads.
