Lays snack chips are made from potatoes, salt and oil with no preservatives added to the chip. They come in a bag, they are thin and each one is of a different size and shape. Lays chips are both salty and crunchy and they do an excellent job of fulfilling the common snack craving. Lays also manufactures a line of low fat chips for those worried about gaining weight.

Pringles Chips

Pringles snack chips are made from potatoes, salt, oil, wheat starch, rice flour and a few common food chemicals. They come in a canister and each chip is the same size and shape and they are uniformly stacked up in the canister, one on top of the other. Pringles chips are not a greasy chip and they too manufacture a low fat version of their chips.

Difference between Lays Chips And Pringles Chips

Lays snack chips and Pringles snack chips actually have more differences than similarities. Lays chips are made with potatoes, salt and oil. On the other hand, Pringles chips have a few other ingredients added to them that Lays chips don’t, like wheat starch and rice flour. Lays chips come in a bag and each chip is different from the last in shape and size while Pringles chips come in a canister and each chip is exactly like the one before it with no surprises whatsoever. Lastly, Lays chips are greasy but Pringles chips are not.

Both Lays and Pringles chips are unique in their own right. Most people enjoy both but most also enjoy one more so than the other. To make everyone happy, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have both brands of chips in your snack inventory at home.
