Nokia E63 vs Nokia E71
Nokia E63 and Nokia E71 are E series mobile phones from Nokia that are immensely popular in all parts of the world. Recently Nokia launched E63 which looks and has almost all the features of its already popular cell phone called E71. Though these two models are strikingly similar, they have some different features that will be highlighted in this article.
1.The first difference that is noticeable to eyes is the colored plastic shell that E63 has against the metallic case of E71. Even the back cover in E63 has a soft touch finish. This ensures that there are fewer finger marks on the body of E63 in comparison to E71.
2. Though the length and breadth are identical, E63 has 1.5 times the depth of E71.
3. There is a 3.5mm jack on the top of E63 whereas E71 has a 2.5mm jack on its side. E63 is the first in the E series to have a 3.5 mm jack, a feature that is normally reserved for the N series.
4. There are not side buttons such as volume rocker or voice recording which are there in E71. Even the IR window found in E71 is missing in E63.
5. E63 does not have internal GPS while E71 has it.
6. E63 does not support HSDPA while E71 does. E63 only supports 3G
7. E71 has a better camera which is 3.2 MP while E63 has just 2 MP camera.
8. E63 has a flashlight that can be used as a torch which is not there in E71.
9. The spacebar in E63 is much smaller than that in E71. The reason for this is the addition of the slash button, shortening the space bar.
10. E71 is a bit smaller and has infrared and a secondary camera as well.
11. E71 comes with a leather case but E63 does not have a leather case.
12 E63 is considerably cheaper than E71 being $100 less in price than E71.
