Samsung Android Smartphones Galaxy Ace vs Galaxy Gio
Samsung Galaxy Ace and Galaxy Gio are two entry level smartphone added to Samsung Galaxy line up. Both Galaxy Ace and Galaxy Gio are running on Android 2.2 (Froyo) and have a new 800MHz processor. Both are almost similar in design and other functions, except for the size and the camera. Galaxy Ace is slightly bigger in dimension with the 3.5” display and a 5 megapixels camera, whereas Galaxy Gio’s display is smaller than Ace by just 0.3 inches and Gio is light weight, it’s only 102 grams. The camera in Gio is 3.0 megapixels, very good spec for non professionals. Both have facility to view and edit document on the go with ThinkFree integrated. And both support wi-fi 802.11b/g/n for faster connectivity and with AllShare you can interconnect multimedia contents with your other devices.
Galaxy Ace
Designed keeping in mind the upwardly mobile young executives, Galaxy Ace is a trendy little smartphone which is simple, yet elegant. With a 3.5” HVGA display on a capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 320X480 pixels, it is a compact and handy handset. Despite being small, this smartphone does not lag behind in features and has a fast 800MHz processor, ThinkFree document viewer and Google voice search. It has an impressive storage capacity of 2GB expandable through microSD. Other features include a 5MP camera with LED flash, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, accelerometer, digital compass and proximity sensor.
Galaxy Gio
This smartphone is intended for socially very active teenagers and young professionals with enhanced social networking capabilities. Gio comes from an Italian word Jewel and Gio certainly looks like a jewel in the hands of a user. It has been designed for perfection and is a robust smartphone that is made to last. It has a 3.2” QVGA TFT display in a sensitive touchscreen. It has a processor with capacity 800 MHz, and has a rear mount 3MP auto focus camera.
