Samsung Droid Charge and Galaxy S 4G have many similar features and both use Android 2.2 (Froyo) with Samsung TouchWiz UI, however Samsung Droid Charge has a larger screen and compatible with Verizon’s 4G LTE network. Samsung Droid Charge features 4.3 inch super AMOLED WVGA (800 x 480) display and powered by 1GHz Samsung application processor. Droid Charge is compatible with 3G CDMA EvDO and 4G LTE network. While Samsung Galaxy 4G has 4″ super AMOLED screen with 800 x 480 resolution, 1 GHz Hummingbird processor and compatible with T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network.

Samsung Galaxy S 4G can be used as a mobile hotspot to connect up to 5 devices at HSPA+ speed. While Samsung Droid Charge can connect up to 8 devices at 4G-LTE speed.

Samsung Galaxy S 4G sports a 5MP auto focus camera, 3D sound, 720p HD video recording and play, 16GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB. While Samsung Droid Charge features a 8MP camera with dual LED flash, but the internal memory is lower than Galaxy S 4G. Charge has 2GB memory with 512MB ROM only.

Samsung claims Galaxy S 4G as an eco friendly device, it is said to be the first mobile phone that is 100% biodegradable. As an added attraction, T-Mobile has preloaded many applications and entertainment packages to Galaxy S 4G. Some of them are Faves Gallery, Media Hub – direct access to MobiTV, Double Twist (you can sync to iTunes over Wi-Fi), Slacker Radio and the action movie Inception. Amazon Kindle, YouTube and Facebook are integrated with Android.
