Samsung is releasing the younger sibiling Galaxy S2 Mini first before releasing super smartphone Galaxy S2 (GT – i9100). These are both Android smart phones based on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Galaxy S2 created a high expectation when it was officially announced in February 2011 with its exciting specification like 4.3 inch super AMOLED plus dispaly, 1 GHz dual core processor with enhanced graphic processing, 8 MP camera with dual LED flash, 1080p video recording and play, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi Direct, a new personalized UX and support HSPA+. Galaxy S2 Mini also carries high end features though it’s named Mini. It’s packed with hardware that’s better than many of its competitors like 3.7 inch WVGA dispaly, 1.4 GHz processor, Wi-Fi n, and support HSPA+. Galaxy S II (or Galaxy S2) is the thinnest phone to date, measuring only 8.49 mm. It’s faster and gives better viewing experience than its predecessor Galaxy S. The additonal applications include Kies 2.0, Kies Air, AllShare, Voice Recognition & Voice Translation, NFC (Near Field Communication) and the native Social, Music and Games hub from Samsung. Game hub offers 12 social network games and 13 premium games including Gameloft’s Let Golf 2 and Real Football 2011.
