Fox vs Wolf
Wolf and fox, both belonging to the Canidae family are roughly cousins. However they are very much different not just in terms of size but also of their eating and hunting patterns and major behavior as well.
Fox
Fox are medium sized and usually has a narrow snout and fluffy tail. They are usually smaller than other canines even than that of a domestic dog. They don’t live with a pack, instead they exist having 2-3 companions. Due to their small frame, they don’t tackle big prey, instead they hunt rodents by pouncing on them. They also thrive eating an array of insects, berries and fruits.
Wolf
Wolves are large canines that have been long feared by humans due to their fierce and carnivorous tendencies. Wolves make spine tingling howls. Because of their size and since they hunt in packs of 6 to 10 animals, they have no problems of catching large prey. Due to fear and hunting, wolves have been hounded for several years, thereby resulting in its rapid decline in numbers. Both red wolves and grey wolves are endangered species. Grey wolves can be found in Europe, Alaska, Canada, and Asia. Red Wolves exist in southeastern United States.

Amidst their differences, what sets them apart from each other is their capacity to survive in the ever growing human population. It is apparent that they are different in their sizes but they are also very opposite when it comes to human. Fox can generally thrive in human contact since they feed on human food as well and even garbage to that extent. Though they are more scared of humans but they are generally unharmed, unless though road accidents. Wolves on the other hand are either hunted or feared, since they need larger area for their pack they are now pushed back to the mountains to look for a safer territory.
