Civic and Porche are two names that often come to mind when the subject of cars comes up. In today’s world, owning a car is both a luxury and a necessity, and owning either a Civic or a Porche meets them. Both cars excel in terms of performance, quality, reliability and overall customer satisfaction which combine comfort, class and driving excitement.

What is Honda Civic?

Honda Motors Company Ltd., one of the top car manufacturers in the world, manufactured Civic. What is the difference between Honda Civic and Porche?

Aside from Civic being an affordable luxury mid-size car and Porche being a prestigious state-of-the-art sports car, one of the differences between the two are obviously their engine types. The Honda Civic has two kinds of engines that any buyer can choose. One is a 1.8 liter, 16-valve SOHC I-VTEC 4-cylinder engine with 140 horsepower and the other one is 2.0-liter, 16-valve SOHC I-VTEC 4-cylinder engine with 197 horsepower, while Porche’s more powerful engine has 3.6liters H6, 24 valves with 320 horsepower. Another notable difference between a Civic and a Porche is their fuel tank capacity. The former can hold up to 50 liters of fuel while the latter can hold up to 67 liters. When it comes to traction control which prevents the tires from slipping on a slippery surface, Porche is better because of its wider tires compared to the Civic.

However, both cars perform exceptionally well in their class, as such, both cars raked in more money compared to the rest of the competition. Good sales results in customer satisfaction in all aspects that matters in owning a car.
