Park Hopper and Park Hopper Plus are ticket options available at Disney World. Although both these options allow you to visit multiple parks within a single day, there is a difference between them. The main difference between Park Hopper and Park Hopper Plus options is that Park Hopper Plus option allows you to visit the Disney water parks whereas Park Hopper option does not allow access to water parks.

What is Park Hopper?
Disney Park Hopper option allows you to visit multiple parks within a single day. So you can visit all four parks – Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and Disney Epcot – in one day. This is the main benefit of park hopper ticket. This is a bit expensive when compared with the base ticket, but base ticket only allows you to visit one park per day. Park hopper option can be used with any Disney ticket you buy whether single day pass, ten-day pass, or any package deal. However, this option does not allow you to access the following:
- Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
- DisneyQuest
- Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex
- Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
- Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
Disney Park Hopper option may suit you for several reasons.
Why Should You Choose Park Hopper?
- You have visited the parks before and do not want to spend a full day in each park.
- You have only one day, or a limited number of days to visit Disney World and do not have time to spend a full day in each park.
- You can move to another park if one park is extremely crowded.
It is also important to note that Disney ticket expires 14 days after the first day of use.

What is Park Hopper Plus?
Park Hopper Plus option also allows you to enter multiple parks in one day. In addition to this, it also allows admission to water parks – Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Thus, the difference between Park Hopper and Park Hopper Plus is the admission to water parks. However, these admissions depend on your package or the number of days in your package.
Park Hopper Plus also gives you limited access to,

- ESPN Wide World of Sports
- Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course
- Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course
