HTC Evo Design 4G is the latest member of the HTC Evo family. The new HTC Evo Design 4G, runs on Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread). The display is a 4 inch Super LCD with qHD resolution like the one in Evo 3D and HTC Sensation 4G, but it is smaller than the display of HTC Evo 4G, which is 4.3 inch LCD with WVGA resolution. Though it is small, it is sharper and crispier than that of Evo 4G. The thickness of the phone is 0.47 inch, almost same as HTC Evo 4G, but the other dimensions are slightly smaller, as the display is small. The processor speed is 1.2 GHz, as such; it is faster than Evo 4G. The rear camera is only 5 megapixels with 720p HD video cam, whereas the camera quality in Evo 4G is much better. However, the camera features in the new Sense UI used in Evo Design 4G is remarkable. There is nothing much to boast neither about its specification nor the design. It is a typical HTC design, but it is a world phone. HTC has designed it more as an affordable 4G phone. It is available with Sprint for $99.99 only, same as the price of HTC Evo 4G.

HTC Evo Design 4G

HTC Evo Design 4G is one of the newest and cheapest smart phones offered by Sprint. It is the fifth Evo member of the HTC Evo series. Evo Design 4G comes with new good-looking and affordable price. It has the brushed-steel looking material with rubber backing to make sure that users will not lose the grip. Unlike the previous Evo Designs, to remove the battery or microSD card you don’t need to remove the whole back plate, only a small panel need to be removed. HTC Evo Design 4G has the HTC sense interface featured, 4 inches Super LCD (960x 540 resolutions) qHD capacitive touch display, which is quite smaller than the other Evo models in the lineup.

HTC Evo Design 4G runs on Android Gingerbread plus HTC Sense 3.0 user interfaces. It’s Powerful Qualcomm MSM8655 1.2GHz processor with 769MB RAM makes it move a bit ahead compared with other Evo models. It includes an 8GB microSD card (expandable up to 32GB). HTC Evo Design 4G supports both front-facing and rear-facing cameras. A camera module included 5 MP front facing camera capable of recording 720p quality videos and 1.3 MP rear-facing camera supporting many video apps such as Tango, Qik.

Evo Design 4G has a reasonably good battery which is 1520mAh Li-Ion battery, cable of managing the power up to 6 hours of talk time. HTC Evo Design 4G has designed to cater for the middle layer market requirements, but it gives more than expected out of it. HTC Evo Design 4G comes with the price tag of just $99 with two-year contract with the carrier Sprint.
